The Ruby Ranch Community has a barn, stables, paddock, loafing shed and arena as part of the equestrian assets. Owners are welcome to board two horses in the stables.

Close to 40% of Ruby Ranch land is community property that is maintained as hay meadows. A system of irrigation ditches transports water from Willow Creek to grow hay on these meadows.

Ruby Ranch is adjacent to the the Eagles Nest Wilderness and provides access to miles of trails on which horses are permitted.
