Ruby Ranch owners and their guests enjoy access to acres of open space and private trails that access the Eagles Nest Wilderness in the White River National Forest.

The Ruby Ranch Community has a barn, stables, paddock, loafing shed and arena as part of its equestrian assets. Owners are welcome to board two horses in the stables.  The Ranch is adjacent to the Eagles Nest Wilderness which provides access to miles of trails on which horses are permitted. Close to 40% of Ruby Ranch land is community property that is maintained as hay meadows.

There are 5 world class downhill ski and snowboard resorts and 4 Nordic Centers within 15 miles of Ruby Ranch and the Ranch itself maintains a half mile cross-country ski track loop with beautiful views of Buffalo Mountain and Red Peak for owners’ use.

Minutes away from Ruby Ranch lies Dillon Reservoir, one of Colorado’s most scenic recreation areas, with two boat launching sites, two marinas, a yacht club, and an annual stocking of trout. The nearby Blue River, North Pond and Green Mountain Reservoir offer further opportunities for boating, fishing and other water sports.
