Ruby Ranch is located at 9000 feet in altitude in the lodgepole pine forest that dominates this high alpine environment. Lot owners must maintain their property to promote the health of the forest around them.

Noxious weeds are a threat to the native ecosystem. Being so close to the Wilderness area, lot owners are encouraged to keep these weeks off of their property.
