Incoming Mail
Each Ruby Ranch resident can receive mail that is addressed to his/her Ruby Ranch street address. The mail will be delivered to a numbered mailbox at the barn. Parcels that don’t fit in the mailbox will be placed in one of the parcel lockers and a key for that locker will be put in the mailbox for the recipient. Parcels too big for the parcel lockers will be kept at the Dillon post office.
To obtain a box and a mail key, please contact the Ranch Manager, Jim Nielsen.
Residents can also receive a notification each time the mail is delivered to the barn by contacting Carl Oppedahl {link to email address}. Notifications can be sent by email, or by text message, or both. This is a general message that mail has been delivered to the Ranch. For personal notifications, residents can sign up for Informed Delivery with the USPS.
Outgoing mail
There are five slots for outgoing mail at the barn, one in each of the Cluster Box Units. Our rural carrier will pick up the mail from these boxes and dispatch it into the mail system for delivery.
The mail slot is 11 inches wide and ¾ inch high and fifteen inches deep. Mail that will not fit should be taken to the Post Office.
